David Chavez is an industrial designer based in San Francisco. He approaches design purposefully as an innovator and problem solver with a keen interest in the human experience.
He believes that ideal design provides solutions and expedites processes through thoughtful innovation and a clear conscience.
David Chavez's movable Braille timepiece was recognized with an IDEA award and an Ultimate Spark! award. Haptica was also featured in the Why Design Now? National Design Triennial at Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt museum in New York.
His work has been featured in design exhibits as well as book and magazine publications.
